Tricks to removing front hubs?
haha, what a coincedence. my driver side bearing separated on me last week almost flipped into a ditch because of it. this will be the 2nd set ive put in. stupid chinese parts. i have probably 25,000=30,000 miles on these. hmmm... maybe i will torque them to spec this time.
i just cant remember for the life of me what size socket it was. lol. i wanna say mine were 1-11/16" ya that big. lol.
glad to hear you got yours fixed. last time i did mine i screwed up the seals but im not gonna worry about those as ill be doing all new bearings and seals when i get my new gears.

Yup, 1 11/16". An odd size for sure. I used a 1 3/4" socket that my neighbor had. Was a little loose, but worked fine. I didn't use an impact on it so the oversized socket didn't really have the chance to really round off the castle nuts.
