Default adding cruise control

well the other day i was on CL and found a guy who had everything you need to install cruise into a 99-up ram.

my question is since my truck didnt have it from the factory can i just add the servo under the hood and install the steering wheel and have it all work?
do yall think its worth it? he only wants $50.

my next question is about my instrument cluster, can i get one from a junk yard with a tach and just "plug" it into my dash? im tired of my giant gas guage! with my 35's i can just watch it slowly slid over to empty. lol

You don't need to swap the wheel. Pcfixer just did this a few weeks ago. I'll tell him to get on and help ya out. If he doesn't see it or I forgot PM him and I'm sure he'll tell ya what you need to do

I would also like to know how to install cruise on my 97....

So you don't have to change to steering column and wheel?
