Home made grill?
So the grill on my 96 has been smashed out since bought it from its unfortunate run in with a deer on the highway, I personally don't care, BUT, my brand new radiator is getting hit with rocks on the highway and just not fairing well, and winter is coming, so I want to make my own grill. I replaced the hood and all that jazz, so only thing I'm missing in the grill.
Sorry for the run on.
I want to make a useful grill, something that works, doesn't have to look awesome.
I was wondering if any of you guys would recommend something. I'm looking to do this on the cheap. Function over form.
So, chicken coop? Something else I can just bolt on my way? I'm not sure about the chicken coop, but maybe other stuff? Any other materials out there that have holes in them that would bend easily enough to form into a make shift grill?
Any thoughts guys? Need some opinions before I go to my local home depot.
Oh and I was thinking cheaper than the $60 APC style universal grills, but maybe a similar look to it.

I can get a new grill cheaper from rock auto, but lemme explain further.
I can't put a new grill on because then I'd have to replace the front bumper as well. It's pushed up to far.
Back to my original question, thank you.
EDIT: That came across a bit harsh. No offense intended.
And let me further add, this is a $400 work truck. Cheap as possible is better.

loosen the bolts that hold your bumper on and have a fat friend sit on it to lower it. then tighten them back up. Did that a few weeks ago, i bought a new 44 dollar grill off ebay and my bumper was pushed up so much the grill would hit it.
