Did you have to bend up a new line or did you buy a pre-bent one?

Ok, glad I got mine fixed the way I did then. My rear brake line rusted out above the gas tank and burst Saturday in front of a tire shop. Thankfully it happened in the parking lot and not going down a hill or something. Since I was already at a shop, I got it fixed there for $140. It would have cost me $80 anyway to tow it back to my house, then $40 for a tubing flare tool, and another $10 for a bender because I dont have them. Plus it would have took me about a month to fix it as that is the way my projects go.

By the time you had bought the line and fluid You probably would have gone over the $140.00 any way. I was lucky when mine busted, 1 1/2 blocks from the house.

Yep, exactly why I go it fixed where it was sitting!

I don't even bother with the bender. I can do just as good a job by hand. But then, I have been doing it for a long time.......
