Default Front tow point Ideas

I need to get front tow points on the doodge for a off road event this next weekend. What have you all done for them? I would like to get some clevis's mounted but I'll prolly have to do hooks. Just seeing where you mounted them and what you used for steel to make them. We might have some 3/8 or bigger steel at work I could use. Just need ideas.

Front hitch.
Get a hitch from a junk yard for 25$.
Cut the ends off so it can sit flush against the cross member on the front of the frame.
Clamp it onto that cross member and weld.
Then get a hitch insert for it like the one I have that is for those monster trailers/farm equipment or get one of those hitch inserts that is designed for a shackle like the one's that Tractor Supply carries.
