Default Removing Cat

Im sure this has been around the block a time or two but I cut the bottom of my cat out and cleaned it out and welded it back up. I plan to just eliminate the cat with pipe. What would I do with my O2 sensors? I have one in the front and back of cat. Right now I dont have the check engine light on. Is my truck going to run any different right now with the cat gutted?

well the only one affected would be the one behind the cat since it's sole purpose is to detect whether the cat is working or not... you will probably get a CEL but it shouldn't hinder the trucks performance.
