Those spacers look like they will hold up just fine. You may want to coat them somehow. They look like they'd make a bit of noise as bare steel.

 

This weekend i think im goin to pull them out and weld in the bolts and spray them and clean up the fender wells and frame all in one go then I can start getting working on the body, a few dings and such so itll be ready for some paint.
