Default The (under-hood) wiring for the ambient temp. sensor...

I am swapping the overhead console on my 2001 Ram 1500. I have the new overhead console with the temp/directional display and the wiring that goes with it...but what about that wire that plugs into the temp. sensor under the hood?

I really am having a hard time finding the wiring for (under the hood). When I open the hood, I can see where the female jumper connector is already wired right next to the small trouble light, but where can I find the wire that plugs into that connector? The actual temp. sensor that mounts to the back of the grill needs this wire too, I imagine. The dealerships here all say that they can't order that and have no idea where I could get one other than lucky find at a junk yard...which doesnt have it anywhere around here.

Anyone who may have the overhead console with the electronic temp/directional display who could maybe look under the hood and see if the wire has any numbers on it or knows where I can get this please let me know!

Thanks!!

I'll have to do some digging, but some one a while back (a few years ago) did a DIY about it. Do a google search for it.
