So what do you think about Lucas oil Zman? I used to have the same or similar on a 318 and cured it with a 1/2 a bottle. Just asking since I use it in a couple motors and dont want to get a nightmare when I tear them out...

I have used lucas (4qts synthetic, 1 QT lucas) since I bought my truck in 2008 (2001). It was well maintained, and when I did my plenum gasket and roller rockers, the alvetrain was squeaky clean. But I think that is more because the oil change intervals were spot on for the life of the truck.

3K miles of 3 months.
