Default 2wd lift to clear 35's

there is tons of stuff on here to figure out how much lift you need to clear this or that size tire for 4x4... but none for the 2wd. I want to know how much lift do i need to clear a set of 35's on my 94 2wd ram. i plan on 3.5 in coils 1.5 spacers and 5in springs will that work or should i go with the 3.5 coils in front and the 3in spindles

You'll need about 6" of lift. Maybe 4" with a little rubbing.

Running 3.5" coils and 1.5" spacers would be so rough, it'd be almost undrivable. You can run a spring and spindle, but probably wouldnt be wise to run a spring and spring spacer, at least without fabricated suspension components. 3" coils and 3.5" spindles would give you great clearence, as well as a 3.5" spindles and 3" body lift, or 3" coils and 3" body lift. You can also run spindles and spacers, for say a 4" lift.

yea somewhere around 5" and you should be good, 2.5" on the coils is the largest you can go before needing upper control arms so either a 2.5" spacer or coils with 3in spindles should do it. And a add-a-leaf and/or block for rear.

has a buddy put a 3in body lift on his 2wd and then put 35's on..... had to trim the bumper

it also has a litltle bit to do with the rim backspacing and how wide of a tire you got with

i the cheapest way would be a 2in spring spacer and a 3in body lift

the nicest would be a 3-3.5in splinde lift with a 3in coil lift and after maket upper control arm.... then in the rear you would need at least a 4in block or a 2in block and extra leaf pack...2in block ad lift shackles.......or a shackle flip
