Default really bad wheeling night. need some stuff

Sooo I went wheeling last night for the first time in awhile. It was great til I got buried in a rut from a friggin deuce and a half. It was really bad. He had to come and pull me out. But before that my buddy tried Getting me out and the strap he had snapped twice. Smashed my passenger side sliding window into my truck and put a monster dent in my d*mn perfect tailgate. So I was wondering if anyone had a passenger sliding tinted window. And possibly a red tailgate that is rust and dent free. Pm me or reply to this thread and let me.know. I need thiss stuff ASAP please!

With the damage that that strap caused is it right to assume that it was a strap with metal hooks on the end? If it is get rid of it, they are extremely dangerous as you found out.

Sewed end straps should be the only thing used for vehicle recovery when a shock load is applied as in using another vehicle to pull you out. Chains and cable can be used in constant load applications such as a winch but with extreme caution and make sure they are not overloaded (really easy to do especially with chain).

actually, the strap didnt have any metal hook, it was a stitched end strap. it mustve had so much tention it just ripped. and it actually shattered my glass and dented my tailgate in somehow. =/
