Where did you get your cam sensor from?

I verified fuel pressure it was 43 psi when idleing .... and i did do it with open headers still runs like crap. So if i cant time it then how will the timing fix itself ?

Try this and see if any codes come up, it'll only take a minute. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...code-list.html

Edit, I'm starting to think crank sensor.

After reading these forums for a while..... it has come to my attention that the Dodge's are MUCH more picky about sensors and such, than any other vehicle I have worked on..... it is entirely possible that your cam sensor just isn't up to snuff, and is not giving the PCM the correct info...... I would suggest getting one from the dealer, and swapping it out.

Is the cam sensor the same as the Pick-Up Coil ? May sound stupid but IDK LOL ! Where is the sam sensor. Would it also through a CEL ? And it wouldnt make the headers glow would it ? Or have very very bad response or barely move 5 mph !

Cam sensor = pickup coil. Its the part that tells the PCM where the distributor is pointing...... so, has a MAJOR influence on just when the injectors, and plugs fire. If it is giving erroneous info, well, things are gonna be borked.

No, it won't necessarily throw a code.

Well, looking at the chain of events...... First, runs great. Then, no start, replace cam sensor, starts, but, runs like crap....... Only change here is that sensor....... Seem reasonable?
