Default Cleaning out a clogged cat??

1994 Dodge ram 1500 L 5.9 auto tranny. I think I have a plugged cat. I'm told it can be cleaned out (I know it's not legal). Anyone have any BTDT advice.

Either replace it or you can trash it. I'd replace it as opposed to the illegal option.

Or........ take it off and knock all the shizzle out da middle is cheaper.
Just poke all the stuff out with a long prybar. If it's rusted be careful though, you'll probably knock a hole in it.

Sure glad I don't live in Cali. They take all the fun outta cars and making them run better.
