Those are basically 35 inch tires are they not? What gears do you have, and how does it drive around town for ya? (I am consider tire sizes, but, don't wanna go to large for my 3.55 gears.)
Guess i should have been a little more specific, i haven't had the truck off-road with the new tires yet, but the tires have enough clearance not to rub on the control arms or plastic. They are a little wider than a 285 but the same height. I have 3.55 gears and it lost a little power from the 245s but nothing huge. I'm assuming the standard helps me out there

bfg's are probably the best at's of all time.I'm using Durango's at's I believe they come from cooper tires, they have lots of sipes in the tread almost like a winter tire.

BFG AT's last on average 20k miles with 80% street 20% desert use. That hardly makes them the best AT of all time. With the way chemical compounds change from batch to batch, tires are very hit or miss. The only good "terrain" tire that BF Goodrich makes currently is the Baja TA, and they are terrible on the street IMO.

I thought about going to 17's but I didn't want to spend the extra money to replace my full size spare. I will definitely post pictures once I get the wheels and tires installed
