Hey,

I have the Infinity system in my truck, and I have some 6x9's from my wifes car that I would like to put in. I pulled the old speaker out and forgot these are amped. Is there a way to do aftermarket speakers without a new headunit, or does the factory head unit not have an internal amp?

its my understanding there is no internal amp, and in order to keep that stock head unit, you have to keep the original wiring and the amps. some people remove the amps from the front speakers and wire tie them to the new speakers with good results.
