Yep, I was joking about the UK one - should have saved that for April 1. Or put a smiley on it

 

it might not have been in an accident but the hood and tailgate could have been starting to rust and someone replaced them with ones that were not rusted. its not like it would be that hard to change. it is usually cheaper to replace stuff than to have it repainted with a color that may not be the exact same which might look funny

 

Seeing how dodge had a problem with hoods flying up, it would not surprise me if your truck fell victim to it before you owned it

 

When I bought my ram i notice that all my badges were in the wrong place....in the center consol. jk the previous owner had it painted just before i bought it. but i like the debadged look.

oh and the badges in the center consol were a mix of regular badges(silver), sport badges(red) and v6 emblems. My truck is a laramie with a v8. lol.
