Default Dodge and 4x4 badges on tailgate backwards?

Just a funny thing I noticed, a couple weeks ago I got a used 95 ram 2500 4x4. On the tailgate the Dodge and 4x4 badges are swapped (4x4 is on the left, I see it on the right side on every other truck) from every other Dodge truck I have ever seen. Any reason for this other than at somepoint in the trucks life someone rebadged it and put them on backwards?

I noticed all my badges on the front sides of my truck are different locations and it was the place that painted it didn't put them back in the stock locations. Maybe that is what happened with yours.

It's the tailgate off of the British RHD version. Little known fact that they also require the badges to be reversed

Maybe Canada trucks have the badges backwards or something? Or someone was drunk at the factory.

I got rid of badges all together. Easier to wax now.

Your truck has either been re-painted or wrecked before.

Repainted is right. That's when I decided to leave the badges off.

Who says its been repainted or wrecked before?
That not necessarily true.
Who knows, maybe the first person who had it didn't like the decals, took them off.
The second person liked decals, put them on backwards.
There ya go.
