Does the truck still seem to be down on power? Run kinda "funny"? Or, is that the only issue you are dealing with now? Does the truck accelerate smoothly? And drive 'nice' aside from that?

From start my power is kinda sluggish/funny, not what I am use to but I thought well old girl is just showing her age, accelerate is ok until hit 40mph. If you try to gas it pass that point, it will make a sound like bad gas engine crackle

Spark Knock? I would take a REAL hard look at the plenum then..... You might be able to temporarily alleviate the symptoms, to some extent, by running a can of SeaFoam thru the intake. I pulled the vacuum line off of the PCV valve, and fed it SLOWLY into the can, so that it would suck a fair bit of air, and a little bit of fluid, to keep from stalling the engine.... until the can was empty. Took the truck out and drove it a bit hard until it quit smoking.... cleared up a LOT of my remaining spark knock after doing the plenum repair on mine....

I rather doubt it will solve the harsh TCC problem...... but, it just might. Stranger things have happened.

Move the throttle valve cable forward 1/16" of an inch and report back.
