exhaust
i have a 95 with the 360. i would like to put an aftermarket exhaust on it. my friend told me that i dont need to put a high flow cat on it if i have a 3 chamber muffler. i dont want to lose my low end, so what would be my best option? high flow cat or 3 chamber muffler?
I personally don't have a cat
but if I could...I would run a high flow cat with just a y-pipe...or just run a flowmaster with it instead...either way, a high flow cat is a great way to improve power and sound

I went from a stock system to a Magnaflow direct-fit cat in front of a Gibson Swept Side Single cat-back, and gained throughout the power band (according to my hip pocket dynamometer) without becoming a rolling noisemaker. Fuel economy improved a bit, too.
I don't really see it as an either/or question.

You have a 95 and probably need a new cat anyway so might as well put one on.
Having a high flow cat is not dependent upon a specific design of muffler. Find the one that you like the way it sounds.
