Default 15 inch rims

does anyone here have 15 inch rims and if so did you have to do any "modifications" to your truck?
i looked and it seems 15x8(10) with 4 inches back spacing will clear all components like the caliper and tie rod end but before i go buying a new set of rims i would like some input if at all possible from someone who has gone down a size from the stock 16 inch rims

the tires i want to put on said rims would be something along the lines of a 35 or 36 inch super swamper tsl preferrably 35x14.5r15

my old boss had 15in rims on his with 3in backspacing if i remember correctly, and he runs 33x12.50x 15 BFG M/T's and they rub the front bumper bad.

i have 15 inch rims on my 1998 with 31 x 10.5" rubber, no issues with clearing all the components in the front end. If i hit a bump while turning they rub the running board slightly, with tires the size you are wanting to istall i would imagine you will need a lift.

I put a set of 15" wheels of a tracker and they bolted right up. I only cooked the tiny tires off and then reinstalled my 35" s , but they did bolt up and clear the calipers . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKQhYko6K5s

im sorry, i did not mention anything about what i currently have on there or what specific truck i have

my 97 Ram (sport) is currently sitting on its stock 16 rims with 33x13.5 super swamper tsl i experience no rubbing or anything of the sort unless i trun the wheel all the way right or left then i get slight rubbing of the control arms from the ***** on the tires

the suspension and all is still stock, but within the week i am putting a 5 inch lift kit on the thing and since there is a nice price diffrence from 16 to 15 inch rim tires i want to get 15 inch rims and wanted some input from people, which i appreciate everyones replies

i was running a 15x10 inch rim on mu '01 and had no clearance issuses at all. the tires were 35/12.50/15 only thing that rubbed was the nubs of the tire on my lower fender. im not sure what the backspacing was, but id say it was probly 4"
