Thumbs up ****ty performence bad mpg until I fixed!!!

I will start by saying " I should have known" so my 2k1 1500 2wd was driving like I was towing a big *** anchor. So further inspection of my driveshaft, my rear u-joints I gave the ole shake test and yup u-joints was shot, add that to the newly formed list. while inspecting the evap canisters located under the passenger side attached to the frame, looking at the hoses they where either cracked or ripped... I replaced them all and fixed the rear u-joints.....the truck rides great with no sluggish and no waisting gas. hopefully this will help someone out there thinking about doing the same.....my cost out of pocket was about $35-$40.....

where are the u joints located? I just bought my first ram (99 1500 5.9) and it is very sluggish compared to my old chevy 350. It seems like i have to keep the pedal down just to keep it at 70

Two on the driveshaft. One at each end.
