flat spot in acceleration
Here is the deal with the flat spots in acceleration.
1. It should downshift, because these trucks are dogs in high gear at 2K RPM
2. Are you talking about going up a hill? Because these trucks poop out going up a hill in 3-OD gears. At 2K RPM, they will just slow to a crawl up a hill.
SCT will help that. Also, use that spectre drop in. I know you are worried about fine dust, but if you are willing to change the oil every 3 months OR 3K miles, it will not be a problem. THat is the rub with using the HPr filters. Keep the motor clean. So if you are letting more in, you need to change the oil more frequently.
ALso, did you put a 180* stat in your truck with the plenum fix? Hemifever recommends (and programs) his tunes for 180*.
Not a bad job. You can drain your coolant, change the stat, run a flush treatment and put in new coolant to "winter specs." Not a bad way to spend a morning on the weekend.

there are 2 sensors 1 is the temp gauge sender and the other is coolant temp sensor for ecu .the sensor will have the 2 wire plug the sender is a single wire both are on the front near the tstat.
Lol, yeah that was me! One of the reasons I took it off.
