Angry Low Compression... Headache

Bought a 2001 dodge ram 1500 qc 4x4 5.9L sport

had bad misfiring

changed

both 02 sensors
cam sensor
cap
rotor
plugs
IAC

after getting everything done it ran so much better but still shook a little bit while idling

now the engine light came back on as a misfire on cylinder #6

Did a compression check all cylinders are good besides number 6 which read like 30 psi

never ends......

Just want to enjoy

appreciate the help

Put a spoon full of oil in the low cyl. and check again. If it comes up it's rings, if it stays low it's valves or head gasket.

very good chance you have a busted valve spring, if all the other cylinders look good. Do what charlie said, and if it's still quite low, pop the rocker cover.

Put the oil in, do the compression test. If you run the motor.... it will burn off the oil....

alright guys well i tried the oil and the compression did come up slowly after about 20 cranks of the motor

pulled the valve cover off and all the springs looked okay
drained coolant removed intake radiator exhaust manifold on that side
so motor is all open
i just got in from pulling the head off in the pouring rain

heres some pics any info helps
I don't know if the coolant is from a blown head gasket or just from pulling the head off idk

but i just bought this truck and the radiator was low the heater core is messed up
and had to replace the oxygen sensors which is kinda telling me the coolant ruined em?

idk need help

and happy early xmas

Rings are shot. If compression didn't dramatically increase in three of four revolutions, they are gone.

have the head checked. probably cracked. (which will also give low compression readings....) Before you disassemble the other side, see if you can't get a leak down test...... Got compressed air?
