Hughes / edelbrock fi airgap kit
I didn't notice any 2500 rpm and down power loss with the airgap vs. having a good plenum gasket (Hughes plate).
I'm not saying that there isn't any, just that I can't tell by the feel of it.

Ok If the M1 was that bad I would not be using it. Of all my mods it was the last piece to go on the motor, yes I was driving the truck daily with the other mods just to see how each one changed things. Did the M1 move the hp and torque curves around yes, but not to the extent of that dyno chart. My rpm range is from 1200- 2800 daily every day and I have 0 complaints. When I need it to move, it moves and fast for a brick on wheels. The M1 and the F1 are most definitely two different styles of intakes. The F1 is a dual plain intake which should be better at making lower end torque over the M1, I am not sure about the height of this intake so I can’t comment on that. The M1 is a single plain intake with the same height as the kegger, and has very straight runners almost straight down, to me more of a high-rise intake. Mopar claim opt range of 2000-5000+ rpm for the M1, I see the gains starting at 1900rpm. I am not saying it’s rite for everybody but it works great with my mods.
I have a few things good and bad with the F1 but the main one for me not getting it was its $750+ out of Edmonton, Ab
If you want to keep your entire low end grunt fix the kegger with a kit.
