Default 97 ram 1500, dash lights won't work

I purchased a 1997 dodge ram 1500 3.9L (5speed) about a month ago. Just recently had an aftermarket deck installed proffessionaly. When i went to drive my truck that night, I noticed that my dash lights were no longer working at all. They worked fine before they installed the stereo so i called them back and told them what was up. they said that the previouse owner had "jimmy rigged" the dash wiring and it was ready to cause a fire so he said they were obligated to fix it, and in doing so my dash lights no longer work. He said to check the fuses. I checked the fuses under the hood and it wasnt there so the only other place would be the fuses in the cab on the drivers side. Of course im missing the panel (fuse diagram) for that one so I cant see which one is for the dash lights. if sumeone could post a picture of that fuse diagram or other suggestions that would be great.
Thanks alot, Garth
