Ok well I just ran the diagnostics, seems the check engine light doesn't work, I got 2 codes,

P0207: injector circuit open cylinder 7

P0307: cylinder 7 misfire

So what does this tell me , bad injector? I'm getting it checked today for flow rate

Either the injector on number 7 is bad, or, the wiring to it. Swap the number seven injector with number 5. See if your miss moves with the injector or not.

Ok guys! I'm having the same issue with my 95 1500 5.2L. So when I bought it the guy at the dealership said u- joints... Wrong. So I read this forum and gave tune up.... Nope, and now when I start the engine it idles high and the brake is super stiff, I can barely stop. Any ideas!!!

UPDATE:

Idle and brakes are good.. It was a vacuum leak, aka a hose popped off. More importantly the truck still shakes when overdrive kicks in at slower speeds. Can't remember if previously mentioned by someone else but if I press OD button mid-shake it stops.

I'm slowly turning into a gearhead.....

You still have a miss there somewhere. when you did the tuneup, what all did you replace? Have you had a look at your plenum yet?

I replaced plugs, wires, cap, rotor, (btw this is not user friendly placement, but it was fun). I have not looked at plenum yet.

What other signs would point to plenum?
