Know someone with a tubing bender? Play around a bit, and make your own.

Seriously. You can make something for leaps and bounds cheaper then buying it.

I don't have any pics, and it is not in my truck right now because I took it out temporarily to make room for hauling some sheets of drywall in my bed, but what I used was the spare tire carrier that is on the back of most Jeep Wranglers.

It looks exactly like this:

I got it for $5 of craigslist. Normally, these are mounted vertically to the back gate of a wrangler, but I just flipped it down and mounted it directly to the bed of my truck. Pretty easy and cheap, and works great. Holds up to a 35" tire.

Actually thebigredone it might be nice if you posted a pic of the gate for your toy dodge, the PO did a good job on it.

Depending on if you use your tailgate you could make a swing open gate with a mount on it, wouldnt be too hard to do, and doesnt look half bad when done

I did already, it should be on post #8. I had to use it today to put some beadboard in and it was so handy. It just opens right up. The locking pins are turned down bolts. Haha
