well guys i drove 60 miles yesterday to get my new heads. fresh from a shop they were hot tanked, mild port, shaved .020, new valve seals, and new springs and retainers for 250, he was going to put them on a 318 in a dodge dart but ended up blowing a rod and changing plans. I got home about 4pm and started to tear into her. the inside of the manifold was spotless, the plenum gasket looked new from when the headgaskets were done a few months back, throttle body was a little black so i cleaned it, once i got both heads off i checked them out and found cracks in between every single intake and exhaust valve, number 8 cyl worse than all the others. with more cleaning and a new gasket set i put her all back together. finished just after midnight. she purrs like a kitten now, idles smooth, no more chugging, no more CEL, and alot more power than before. i took some pictures but i cant find the cord to my camera right now i will post some pictures later tonight.
