Jack up the front of the truck, top of the powersteering fluid. Start the engine, and turn the wheel from lock to lock a couple times. Check fluid. If it is all foamy, shut off the engine and let it sit for a bit. Repeat until it quits making rude noises, and turns smoothly in both directions.

I've done this over and over again, it got better the last time but still there. Should I let all the power steering fluid drain out for an hour or so, and start over with power steering bleed.

If it looks nasty, go for it. If it is reasonably clean, try and bleed it again. If you get it to the point that the fluid isn't all bubbly, and it still doesn't wanna work right, it is entirely possible you got a bad box.

it wouldn't surprise me if the box is bad, this will be the second time i've taken the box back, the first one was extremly loose, now this one is extremely tight.

I don't see how I put clean fluid in and it comes out dirty when this is like the 4th flush.
