Exhaust and MPG
I understand where you coming from, my main concern in this thread was the cherry bomb extreme and just mainly wanted some feedback on it regarding mpg. If you look at alot of other exhaust threads you will notice they get off topic from the orginal post and question, I didnt want to see that happen here and then my main question get overlooked by others. Thats all.

My opinion, I think they sound like garbage unless you have the right headers with it...I would stick with Flowmasters...and preferably the 40 or 44 series single in dual out.
Unless headers and a high flow cat is going to be installed, you won't see much more than .25 MPG improvement.
Don't go bigger than a 2.5 inch pipes for a mildly modded truck.
Let us know how it sounds when you get it done!

With the Cherry bomb extreme you will loose mpg. I had it on mine and loved they way it sounded, it was really loud but got rid of if after two weeks because there was a significant drop in mpg. Now i have aeroturbine 3030 and love it!
