Default High Voltage

Hey guys, hows it going.

Since i replaced the coil in my truck (95 ram, 4x4, 318 auto) it seems the voltage gauge reads high. Maybe 15/16 volts. Last night i found out one of my plug wires (the coil one i believe) was arcing. Is this the issue of the high voltage?

Thanks.
B

Nope, quite unrelated. If you had a plug wire arcing to the rest of the electrical system, you would see many more problems than just the volt gauge reading a bit high.

Check voltage at idle, at the battery, the stock gauges are not exactly known for their precision....
