Mine runs 72 mph @ 2000 RPM's, here's a link, to figure it out. The 46re trans is .69:1 ratio in OD and transfer is 1:1, everything else put in according to your truck, leave MPH blank or RPM blank. Mine is spot on with this. Remember a 33" tire is more like 32.6" not truly 33"

So my curiosity brings up some things. One is the miles on both trucks is high.
In the 5.9 I was once able to get 315 mountain hiway miles on a tank.
With the new tranny im lucky to see 240 and it seems like the r s arr up.
Two- 2100 rpm at 70 is not unrealistic with a rack...the red one is 5.2.
Bad tranny or not. At 70 tcc engaged feels fine. At 5mph it crunches makes me wince.
I found the red one fir sale xtra cheap rear speed sensor wire was cut.
Except the crunching its super tight. And if At 70 mph I never see 1700 rpms so be it.

But according to the ratio calculator its dead on. Down to its actually 2111 rpm and the road test reads just above 2100.
So I change one variable. Tire diameter.
I had a pickup with real tall tires and didnt like two things.
Changing out rear end parts and loading stuff. How ever the difference with 285' s on paper brings the rpms at 70 Down 300. You guys confirmed it . In road tests. So the way to get good mileage is to buy new, taller tires , dear....
