Default Knock while in 4x4 6" lift 2000 dodge ram 1500

I have a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with a 6" Superlift lift kit. I love the lift! I've had it on for two years now and it preforms great! Now here is my problem.....
Everytime I shift it in 4x4 it knocks while driveing..
It knocks quicker as I speed up..
My first thought is the ujoints on the front drive line.. I havn't done anything yet to solve it yet.
I'm wondering if anyone else has ran into this problem and allready found a solution so I don't have to spend a bunch of money and time to fix it....

thanks ahead of time, brett g.

if it does it only in 4wd, then its front drive shaft u-joints, possibly the double-carden thingamajig.

its not axle u-joints, because those turn all the time, even in 2wd.

even though you siad its not the axle u joints just check to be safe check your front u-joints on the front axle that are connected to the axle shafts i had the same problem and i screwd up a axle shaft has to compeltely tear down the axle and replace seals and everything a dn new bearings if you dont it will cost you like $50 dollars no to fix compared to $500 that it costed me
