My '96 2500 Overhaul
If it's not making the grade and you want a new diesel why keep the v10 around? Or sell it...
It's kinda funny, I'm pretty sure I mention to buy a cummins on like the first three pages of this thread, now here it is 30 pages later and $22k in the hole, and everyone jumping on the diesel bandwagon. Lol
Seriously though you will have so much more power and at least double the fuel mileage by switching to a cummins.

We'll probably rack up more miles over the next month or 2 before buying a new truck. It was a heat of the moment decision to buy a new truck, so it will take me a couple of months to save up to do the deal.
When it comes time, we'll sell the v10 ram locally. People love this truck, but I'm just sick of it. It will probably be a great truck.... for someone else.
The only consolation if we sell it at this point, is that it's made us some of the money back over the last 15k miles or so.

I would work the truck until it has paid itself off then sell it to one of them good ol country boys!
Or keep it lift it higher and make it a toy or show truck.
Yeah there is nothing like having a new truck with a 80,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty!
Plus I love that NEW truck smell! Especially if it has leather seats... Omg

If I can't get what I want, I'll use it for a plow truck. I don't want to keep 2 pickup trucks. It's bad enough we have about 12 cars. But, if we don't get what we want, I'll use and abuse it. I'll just have to keep it local lol.
