Well, looks like we'll be pulling the trans out of it this week. We lost reverse and now neutral is drive. Seems like something crapped out inside the trans. We pulled the pan and the fluid was pretty burnt. Tried adjusting the rear band, installed a new filter and fluid, but no bueno. I think we actually put 150 miles on the truck since we got it LOL. Whatever, at least it will be fresh for towing.

Stage 3 Mega Viper trans parts will be ordered tomorrow. Hoping to have it completed by the end of next week. The trans should be good to handle forced induction if I end up going that route later this year.

Finally got the trans built. Went with the PATC Level 3 Mega Viper trans kit. The billet converter they sent me had the wrong size for the center hub. After smoking 2 trans pumps I finally got smart and figured out the problem. I sent the converter to a local machine shop and had them turn down the center hub to the right size. Now all is well with the trans. Ended up replacing the front planetary gear set with a 6 gear unit instead of the 5 gear unit that was in it stock. The stock valve body was also cracked, so that got replaced as well.

Now we're working on finishing up the interior and replacing some worn out bushings in the front suspension. I'm also getting a deeper trans pan and trans temp gauge along with some 4.56 gear ratio set. It has the 3.55's in it stock, and with the bigger tires, it's a dog. I need to be able to tow my 2 car trailer with this thing, and those gears don't see like they are going to cut it.

This is the only pic I have right now with the sport bumper installed. It still has the standard grill on it. Once I find a good deal on a sport grill, I'll swap it out.

I need to swap pans anyways with the deeper pan (so I have a damn drain plug) which comes with the 1/8th npt fitting already on the pan. I have brand new cooler lines, and I'd hate to hack them up already LOL.
