Yeah, but, just because they CAN, doesn't necessarily imply that they WILL. If you have a buddy that works there, and can do it on the side for ya, yeah, that works great. (and I have used that method many a time.) but, trying to convince them to do it as a "job"....... it becomes cheaper and easier just to order one up for some folks that do it for a living. Not sure about where you are, but, around here, custom work of that nature doesn't come cheap.

I have the advantage of having friends with the right equipment though..... and a buddy that works in a machine shop..... not sure if he has a mandrel bender though...... got an exhaust pipe bender available for use, but, that one crimps the insides of the bends..... it would 'work', but, wouldn't really be 'pretty'.

Mandrel bending is typically $60ish/hr for 4 bends. A section of DOM tubing in the above specs can be had for $35.

If you were closer I would make those for you for a small fee. be real easy if you have a bender.

If you did 45 deg bends, or cut notch 90'd the tube, you could use the Harbor Freight kinker or no bender at all.
