well its literally a 2009 camper....so i assume being new, they have a bunch of lightweight crap on it

 

Jeez, I used to tow over 5500 lbs (car on flatbed trailer) with my 1500 with a 318. I would tow in overdrive too (once on the highway). Used a trailer brake controller (crapped out on me and never fixed it), class III hitch, and an aux trans cooler. No problems with towing 10k miles in a year. We used it to tow through some super steep mountains too. You could feel the floor get hot and smell the trans burning LOL.
