15 inch rims on '97 ram 1500
I have a 97 ram 1500 with 7-8 inch lift. I current have 35x12.50x15 tires and rims on it. They stick out about 4-5 inches from the body.I have 37.5x12.50x15 tires I got in a trade and was wondering what size rim, backspacing and offset I will need for me to find a new set of rims that would not stick out so far. Anyone do this or know what I would need?
+1 for Hey You, don't know what your gonna need till you measure what you have? Do you know how and where to measure for proper backspacing? Also reguardless of rim backspace, you are going to be hard pressed to find a rim that will move the tire in and not have rubbing issues. Especially while turning or under flex off roading. You money might be better spent getting wider pocket fender flares to cover the distance they stick out.
