ugh...new t-case has sprung a leak
alright i noticed on my lunch break today i have a leak in my new t-case.....its at the spindle where the front driveshaft bolts up.....i want to put my spindle from my old t-case on it anyways since its in better shape......but after i get that nut off, is there a seal i can replace? or do i need to separate the t-case? leak isnt bad....but its a new t-case and im taking no chances.
well new to me....it was used and had 76K on it and i paid $240 for it from my old boss....
i have to spearate the t-case again anyways, since when i put it in, i put my rtv bead around, and it took me a little bit to bench the new t-case in so the seal dried a little, and has moisture of atf on the bottom......im going to do it all at once.....that seal, tranny/t-case seal, and t-case saver.
