Default MPG Questions

Hey all,

I have a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 regular cab 2WD shortbox with the 3.9 litre engine. I was just wondering roughly what fuel mileage this truck SHOULD be getting, and the best method of calculating roughly how many MPGs it's actually getting. I understand it is an older truck and I'm doing mostly city driving, but it still seems to be getting horrible fuel mileage.

Thanks for any help you can provide!
