Default Steering box leak?

So i have fluid leaking out of i think the steering box above the nut that attaches the pitman arm to it. Is there a seal or something in there that can go bad or is this a common problem? Not to sure about steering boxes.

Yep, pitman shaft seal. It is even replaceable...... there was a DIY posted somewhere for it.... not really all that bad, and can even be done on the truck. Taking the fan, and shroud off would make it MUCH easier.
