Default New M/T rims

My factory rims are 16x7 with +13mm of offset and 5in of backspace. The rims I'm lookin at are 16x8 with 0mm of offset and 4.5in of backspace. My question is are these wheels going to stick out alot further then the factory rims or not I'm kind of confused on the backspace and offset thing

Have a look here.

I think you are going to end up with effectively the same backspacing....

They will stick out 1.5" farther than your stock rim.

I dont go by offset just use rim width, and bs and you can figure it out, the new rim is an 1" wider so if it had the same bs as your stock rim it would only stick out 1" farther but since the new rim has .5" less backspacing you add that to the other side so you come up with 1.5"
