I put an air raid tb spacer and G-Force makes a chip its only $69 and guaranteed to get you up to 4 more miles a gallon. I ordered it and it seems to work i have noticed a difference. it essentially makes your IAT sensor think the air is colder and better and makes your truck run richer and somehow get better mileage and power. Not bad for price tho
I found that out after I bought it lol makes cool wooshing sound tho but that g force chip is pretty good its custom made to order for your truck.
They sell the same thing on ebay for like 30 dollars. Only the claims are higher then the g forces. I bought one because i was curious it made a difference for a while but i think the computer ends up overriding it.
The mopars computer is learning and adapting the settings all the time. I have a 93 grand cherokee with the 5.2. The only time the thing really flew was when I reset the computer by disconnecting the battery. That way the jet chip would be changing the parameters to make power after a 1000 or 2000 miles seemed to be slower. It just learns the fake stuff every time. You need to reflash the computer or new computer all together. Jet chip is a junk chip I destroyed mine and would not sell to get money back for cost of the mopar ecu.
P.T. Barnum ( of the Circus fame) said there is a sucker born every minute. So proven by those who believe the hype and shell out for a TB spacer or "chip". You guys wanna buy a bridge in Brooklyn? Easy terms I assure you. "Gas mileage" and "magnum" are not words that should be associated together.
My gas saving tip, drive the girlfirend's vehicle (dodge caliber in my case) as much as possble.

That used to work OK for me. My wife drove a 2004 Jeep GC with the I6 that got 16-17 MPG in town and 21 on the highway. Unless she's in the twin cities, she drives with a light foot.
Now she drives a 2006 Durango... there goes my MPG solution.
Search for threads from HankL. He used to post a lot about using aero tricks to achieve higher mpgs. Still not going to ever see great numbers on these trucks, that is just a fact.

Very true. Anything over 15mpg on a 4x4 and 17 on a 4x2 is outstanding.
