I got a 98 ram 1500 5.2 with 120xxx and rebuilt tranny. Body has 252xxx. I am having a few little problems that have me stumped. First one is when i drive with air on, during acceloration it blows stops and blows through defrost till i let off the throttle. And my cruise control wont downshift. Ive heard its vacuum lines but ive spent hours looking and cant find leaks. Also i dont get hot air in the truck. my heater core has one hot line and one warm line. Im guessing i got to get a new heater core but im not to big on ac/heating so i was wondering about any options. Any help will be great

There is this for the vent problem https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...ild-vents.html and if you look in the FAQ section, there is a DIY on replacing the heater core.
