Default New to me Ram and I'm pretty happy

So I went and picked up my new ram yesterday. Its a 98 with 114k miles 5.9 6inch lift (cheap 3" body and coil spacers and rear blocks) and 35s. It's got a new rear end with posi. I found that out going sideways down the road today. Im also thinking that its re geared because I was running around 1800 rpms at 65mph on the way home wit it yesterday. What gears would be in it? The paints not the greatest and hopefully in spring I can get it painted and get rid of that stripe I hate. The bads are of course the plenums blown, the axles seal is leaking, and the 4 wheel light flickers. Also why would the the air bag and seat belt light be on even when I'm buckled? For $3700 I think I got a pretty decent truck woth fixing up.

ok well its nice to know what gears are in it. I was following my friend today and he said he was doing about 60 in his saturn and my speedo said I was doing about 52-55 so thats good to know. Now would anybody know why the air bag and seat belt light is on and if theres any way of clearing them? I also found out that the overdrive off light in the cluster is either burnt out or just not working cause it doesnt turn on. And both my fog lights dont work either didnt have time to check them yet to see if theyre both burnt out or if theres something else wrong there.

the air bag seatbelt light could be the clockspring went out. does you cruise control work? if not its probably the clockspring that happened to me.

otherwise nice looking truck! is it a long bed?

Nice looking truck!

If you have a LSD in the rear, there is a quick way to get an idea of what gears you have. Jack both tires off the ground, rotate the tires one revolution, and count how many times the driveshaft spins. About 3 and a half turns will be 3.55's, just under 4 times would be 3.92's, etc.

Alright I will be sure to do that If I get any time and it gets above 0 degrees outside this week. Also does anybody have any suggestions on exhaust. It has a single looks like 3" pipe into a muffler (not sure what kind) dual 2.5" straight out the back. The truck isnt loud enough for my liking its only slightly louder than stock. Should I change mufflers or cut out a cat? Also instead of being like every other truck in town and have 3" tips out the back or at 45's Im thinking about turndowns after the rear axle any pros or cons of doing this? Any other suggestions?
