Fix hole in grease boot???
I put my lift on this weekend (more on this later), but I noticed a problem as I was installing stuff on the front.
I greased everything up, and noticed that I have a pin size hole in the grease boot at the end of the drag link (passenger side). When I pump grease into the zerk, it comes out that tiny hole. I went to Dodge this morning to get a new replacement boot, and they said that it is all pressed together, so you have to buy a complete new drag link. It is not too expensive ($65), but it looks like a pain to change it out, plus I would have to get another alignment I think (since it is part of the steering assembly). Anyone know a way to fix a tiny hole in a rubber boot so that it will hold the grease in so I don't have to replace the whole drag link?

here's what I would try... go get a inner tube repair kit and get the glue that is used for attaching the patch and put that on there, that stuff is supposed to seal rubber...
