Default SCT question

Just did the plenum, as seen in another thread. I'm planning on getting the SCT during the Christmas sale.

One question I do have is does it change the shifting speeds? Right now the truck shifts into overdrive at around 40mph, and ~1700 rpm. I'd like it to be a little higher, does the SCT help that?

as far as the SCT goes (and I got mine from hemiFever as well) everyone talks about the tuning and how it 'awakened' their truck.. I guess it did, and I guess that's good.. The sole reason I got one was to override/write the Death Flash...

What I didn't realize, was that it also eliminated (or at least reduced) Torque Management.. THAT, in my humble opinion, is the best selling point of Hemi's tunes.. I didn't realize how much I hated that crap until it was gone.
