Default Please help!! 360 with lots of problems

so i pulled my dodge out of storage after it sat for almost 2 years.
the day i pulled it out a check engine came on it was cylinder 5 missfire.
i did all the sets to fix it : new injectors all around, spark plugs, wires, cap & rotor, idle air control, injector cleaner, set base timing, ran oil conditioner, and changed oil over to synthetic.
after all this there was still cylinder 5 miss fire light going on and off
the idle was still super rough and if you were stopped at lights with your foot barely on the brake it lurches forward really hard
also while driving down the highway you would get a hick up where the truck would jolt you forward although it was on cruise.
i was driving along and had the truck set to cruise at highway speed and all the sudden it reved up from 1500 rpm to 2000 to 3000 so i took it off crusie and tried to drive by pedal there was no change in speed no matter how far the pedal was down. i pulled over to the side of the road and put it in nuetral gave it a rev to 3000 to see if it was engine and all the sudden it dropped to 1200 rpm and no matter what it wouldnt go over 1200 even with foot all the way to floor.
i stepped out of the truck to hear what was going on and it sounded like a pinging coming from the back of engine?? but couldnt tell due to traffic noise it was a definate pinging sound though.
i put it in gear to see if it would go forward and no input again no matter any pedal movement. while it was idling it almost smelt as if it was burning rich? also a faint smell of oil. had to get it towed home.
we ran a scan tool and all injectors work.. spark was not a problem..
please help!?!? we are at a stand still and very confused with this headache of a vehicle.
thanks

is the gas 2 yrs old as well? if so, drain it out and put some fresh fuel in there. run some fuel system cleaner as well. i recently had very similar symptoms and a full tank of gas solved the problem, i guess i got bad gas.

try replacing the tps.

Pull the front O2 sensor out, and see if it will start.

+1 on the pre-cat 02.
That will test to see if the cat is clogged, if it is, the truck SHOULD in theory run better.

Its best to do it when the engine is cold, that way the PCM is in the closed loop mode and isn't reading the 02 sensor.

Could be a clogged cat. 2 yrs of storage, theres no telling what got in exhaust. I had a b2600 set up for a year and bought a tranny and clutch and the whole nine yards on basic tune up stuff. Ran like crap. Dirt dobbers nested up hard in cat clogging it. Ran sorta like yours did.
