Here are the rules https://dodgeforum.com/forum/new-mem...ease-read.html .

As far as back on topic goes, I suggest removing the CAD and cleaning it. Remove the front dif cover, clean and replace the rear end grease with synthetic.

Oh ya forgot to add lol, i have synthetic front and rear(i change it yearly..ya im picky..) So, i guess i will tear down the CAD and i may replace the vac lines if i think they needed it, or i may say screw it and just toss the cable actuated setup in as a X-mas present to my truck.(along.....with a tank of fuel lol)

If you have a vacuum pump/gauge combo ,you can test the lines and the CAD motor/diaphragm. If you take the CAD housing off, check the shoes on the fork, make sure you have no play at the end of the intermediate shaft, check for play where the two shafts meet, and make sure the collar slides back and forth easily.

Awesome thanks! after walking out there and noticing its hardly above zero... I may wait until i can pull it in to the garage lol. Long as my 4wd works im happy lol. Awesome info though Zman. I was expecting issues with my CAD the day i bought my truck but its been 2 yrs and no issues, so im pretty happy. It may not be as bad as some people put it to be.(just like the plenum) I have 135K on my plenum(stock) and it isn't blown. Along with 135k on my tranny(very well maintained) and no issues. And now that i said all that..... My next post will prolly be my engine blew up, taking out my tranny and cracking my dash lol...

Sweet, its kind of tough to search for CAD on here... or 4wd... lol. I found out today its sticking half *** in 4wd(just enough to grind a little). so i guess something is dorked up. Will read in to that and tear it down. I'll just leave it in 4wd for now since the roads are snow pack here.
