Default In-dash touch-navigation for 2001 Ram 1500?

Hey everyone.

My dad recently upgraded to an in-dash CD/MP3/Nav unit in his truck and it got me thinking about looking into doing the same in mine.

Question is.. my radio "face" area is pretty small so just to the naked eye, most of the navigation units in the local Best Buy look like they'd be too big to fit.

Are in-dash CD/MP3/Nav GPS units available for a 2001 Ram 1500? If so, is there a specific site that's best to look at? Or a certain size that I need to be looking for?

Cheers! and Merry Christmas!

Edit:
This isn't my truck (mine has the stock stereo still installed) but it's just a picture to show the styling/sizing..

I think the size is 1.5 DIN. If you can't find one that size, see if you can get a fold out dvd screen that may offer nav. That is too high tech for my base model truck so I never looked into it. I just slap a garmin on my windshield and go.

Just get a Garmin Nuvi, unless you are upgrading the Stereo as well. However, our trucks are not very well equipped (wiring wise) to use fancy gadgets without doing some custom work.

I agree, just get yourself a Garmin Nuvi, you can mount it anywhere you like.

What is a good Garmin Nuvi? I really like in 99Dodge pictures above. I can't see the model number in the pictures.
